Being the best daughter that you can be isn't as important as being important as being what the Lord God wants you to be, and that is remembering that if you are "His child, He is your Father" and let His Holy Spirit be your guide. If He is your guide, and you follow Him, you are what is important in Your Father's eyes. Which is the most important, God's okay on mankinds?
Low self-image is distructive, especially when it is unsupported, by those who you care about. But in God's eyes you are valuable. Remember a few years ago a poster that was of a little boy and it said, something to the effect "I'm valuable, because God don't make junk." God don't make junk, He makes people who He wants them to be all that they are capable of being. I am 69 1/2 years old, and I am now starting to realize this, as like you I never was good enough in many of my families eyes. But in God's eyes I was just what He wanted me to be, and that if I allowed Him to, He would mold me into a vessel for His service. I have loved HIm since I was young, but I made many mistakes along the way, and suffered for my sins, but the Lord, called me back to Him more than once, and now --- the light in my head, heart and brain has gone on, "THAT GOD REALLY DOES LOVE ME, AND I AM RIGHT WHERE HE WANTS ME TO BE, SO HE CAN COMPLETE THAT GOOD WORK THAT HE STARTED IN MY O SO LONG AGO."
WHY DOES IT TAKE US SO LONG TO REALLY LEARN THAT IT IS HIM AND ONLY HIM AND HIS WILL FOR US THAT IS IMPORTANT NOT WHAT OTHERS MAY THINK OF US, WHEN WE SEE AND UNDERSTAND THIS, LIFE BECOMES SO REAL------REALLY REAL,
"YES, HE LOVES ME SO."

Lord i pray that you will bless me and make me whole. Help to be the best daughter i know how to be and love her even when i cant meet her standards of life. I feel like mom compares to me my brothers and sisters and that hard on me. Because it makes me feel i cant do anything good enough or right enough to make her well.
Help me Lord to be the best daughter i know how to be and be happy with myself also :)
