  Dear One,
We don't always get what we want, and horrible things do happen. I'm sorry those things happened to you.
God loves you today, just like you are. I can only say that somehow you have to trust God's heart.
One step at a time, sweet Jesus, that's all I'm asking of you-Lord, for my sake, help me to take one step at a time.

I have not lost a child to death but I have 4 sons that have drug and/or alcohol problems. I love my sons and I pray they will wake up and see the light as I did but that is really all I can do for them. I know from my own experiences that we all have a choice whether to do what's right or wrong and only the Lord knows what your child was going through. The devil has taken our children. Your son's death is the result of the devil not the Lord. Please know this wasn't your fault. Don't let the devil get you too by moving away from your church family and friends, you need them more than ever now! Bless you dear sister in Christ!

Please keep your faith and trust in God. This summer it will be 15 years since I lost my favorite uncle and aunt in a car accident. They were wonderful Christian people and I had a hard time understanding why. But over the years God has shown me that He knows best even when we don't. Rest assurred that your son can be tempted no more. God knew what he was going through and God will comfort you.

Hi Saints of God I am a Christian that have gone through an experience that makes me feel discouraged.
I had a son that was giving me a difficult time because he was in bad company. I ofren asked the Pastor and Eldes and other committed church members to help me with my son. He seemed as if he was in a pit and needed some one capable to pull him up. The church Prayed for him put he still remained in that pit. I tried councelling and every thing possible but he continued in and out of Jail.

In my opinion everyone stayed far from his soar, He was a handsome and bright young man with good potential he sometimes visited church when he was out of Jail, but he got hooked on drugs, and sometimes Alchol and bad company. He died of a Drug Overdose in 2002. I am still trying to recover and can't cease to imagine why God didn't answer my Prayers, or why God would allow my child to die that way. Or why no one didn't want to help me to get him out of that pit. I often think that I didn't try hard enough, even though family and friends were telling me to leave him alone. I still didn't give up on him because he was my son. In those times I felt Lonely and rejected by family and friends also the church brethren. I found out that the church brethren isn't good for reaching out to people like my son or it was just because it was only me. I need You to Pray for me I know the scriptures and that was what kept me from falling into his pit becausr I suffer discrimination and often wander if I am on the right tract.

I now live alone and sometimes feels lonely as my son was my only company even though he was distant because of his unstableness. I couldn't sleep until he came home at 2-4am, since he died I was just the same except I know that he is never going to come home. He was in Jail more times than he was at home, during those time I tried to get him home or visited, but now I know that I he is not coming home anymore. I wanted my son to change his ways not to die like that.
